Mistrale specialises in architectural and interior design photography using 4x5 view cameras and digital processing and output. This combination lets us combine the best of both worlds: the ability to get all the correct perspective and the beautiful detail of the large format camera, and the immediacy and flexibility of the digital world.
We also specialise in low impact interior photography where possible. By using, for example, available light for interior shots (with digital post-processing) rather than heavy, complex, and time-consuming lighting gear, we minimize the amount of time the workplace or home is unavailable to clients -- and the endless client-annoying cables, duct tape, etc., that seems to be the almost inevitable acompaniment of most interior shots.
